The CCS National Site Awards concluded on Friday with the grand finale being held at The Brewery on London’s Chiswell Street. Affinity is proud to have supported CCS in the design and production of the awards.
Due to the huge number of construction sites across the country, the awards were conducted over six nights in Manchester, Edinburgh and London. In total, over 2,000 guests attended. Hosts for the events included Mark Robinson, Chief Executive of SCAPE, Chris Stewart, President of RIAS, and Victoria Hills, Chief Executive of the RTPI.
The National Site Awards are one of the ways CCS supports positive change and higher standards in the construction industry. They recognise the efforts that constructors have made to be considerate, including the value they create for their local community and their respect for local people, their workforce and the environment. These sites represent the pinnacle of considerate construction and set the benchmark for others to follow. Running since 1998, they are one of the most recognised awards in the construction industry.
This year’s winners included Balfour Beatty, Berkeley Group, Boskalis Westminster, Canary Wharf Contractors, Overbury, Kier Group, Laing O’Rourke, Telford Homes, VolkerStevin and Wates Group.
“Our National Site Awards are a prominent date in the industry calendar, so the pressure is always on. Affinity delivered across the board and exceeded expectations—in design, production and logistics.”
